The Pony Club Secrets series, by Stacy Gregg
The series revolves around the adventures of Issie as she goes from a beginning rider to competing at famous horse shows. It's really cool because you get to see how she grows up from the first book to the last. This is a must read series for all horse lovers. There are thirteen books total in the series including a special edition.
Heartland series, by Lauren Brooke
This series is good for a quick and easy read that you will enjoy if you're struggling to find time to read lengthy books. In the Heartland series, a teenager named Amy gets to help at her family's horse rehabilitation and rescue ranch. There is a TV show made about the book series, and quite a few books written in the series.

Thoroughbred series, by Joanna Campbell
The series starts when Ashleigh Griffen and her family are forced to sell their breeding farm and have to start over and move to work at a large racing farm, Townsend Acres. Ashleigh has to save a foalthat is born weak. The series then continues to a new generation of riders. One great thing about this series is how many books there are. Canterwood Crest series, by Jessica Burkhart
Similar to the Thoroughbred series, there are two groups of riders in the series. It all starts when Sasha Silver attends the elite equestrian boarding school after learning all she could at her small home town barn. There is a lot of drama, almost more than the technical horse aspect, but it's a good series for when you just want a really quick and lighthearted read.
The Saddle Club, by Bonnie Bryant
In the series that by now is a classic choice for the 8-12 year old group of horse crazy girls, three girls who share a love of horses and riding become best friends. They face many challenges and share many adventures together, and the focus of the series is equal parts horses and friendship. There are many books in the series and a TV show based on the books as well.
